Street Food and Baroque monuments

An amazing tour in the city of the elephant, passing through alleys and streets flanking the historical buildings on south of Duomo square. This walk takes you to find out the market, called “a’ Piscaria”, characterised by still authentic smells and flavours, which tell about the city’s spontaneous nature.

From the “ciciri” (chickpeas) to almonds, from dried figs to cheese, from raw fish to olives, the tour will be a succession of tastes which tell about the local products; without neglecting the typical arancini and the fried fish; besides, there is time to know stories about lava flows, flow caves and Frederick II castle.
